Specific shots I needed help with before shooting.

I wanted to make a dark silhouette, so that I could use another shot, so that it is able to come though and be visible. I didn't know how to go about making a silhouette so I asked my teacher, and he was able to show me how to she my lighting, to block out the lighting in the front, He told me to place the light source behind my model, so the light brings out the outline of the figure creating the silhouette.

I really liked this shot that I found, I wanted to remake it in my video, using a tilt up from her feet to the balloons, and the balloons being the only part in colour.
For the tilt, I have previously struggled to keep the camera straight and steady when moving it, so my teacher introduced me to a tripod, the tripod allows steady and easy movements and professional looking cinematography. When I learnt how to use the tripod alot of my problems were solved. When it came to isolating the colour, they said I need to film it first and that comes into the editing.

For this shot with all the t-v's the advice was to shoot each part separate, for example from the hips to the waist, waist to chest and chest to head. and then edit them together on the screen, making them look like the same channel is on different t-vs but they are not n-sync.
